The Ford Mustang E-Mach comes in second place behind the Model S, with the ability to travel 379 miles on one charge. While this isn’t your standard family car, it proves that Tesla isn’t running away with it and that you can still get long-distance EVs from other brands.
It’s not all about the distance that an EV can travel on one charge, though, and you should definitely factor in other things too. As there are public charging stations available, you don’t have to worry about travelling everywhere on just one charge. If you’re heading out on a long journey, you’ll be able to stop and charge along the way, so don’t compromise on more important features just for distance capabilities.
If you have a home or workplace charging station, you’ll be able to charge your EV there too, so it’s not like one charge will have to last you multiple days. The growing number of accessible charging points means that you never have to worry about not being able to make your desired journey on just one charge.
